I'm a photographer and creative director, born and raised in Cairo.

In 2012 I started tagging my travels around Egypt with #ThisIsEgypt. Three years later it was formally adopted as the country's national tourism campaign, and ran under that banner until 2018. #RoamEgypt came next — a push to get Egyptians exploring their own country, which grew into a six-episode series.

Today I work across Egypt and the Gulf on brand campaigns, travel and underwater shoots, from concept through to the frame.

The personal work happens below the surface. I shoot it for the people who are too afraid to dive, or who'll never reach these places, so they get a window into them anyway.
